As much as I love going to Napa for the wine, the real reason I love going there is to explore all the wineries and old buildings. For me it is the perfect mix of Old, Rustic, Industrial, Art and Nature. The shots here are from down town Napa by the old General Store and Frogs Leap Winery. What is your favorite place in Napa?
San Francisco
I don't always get to spend much time in San Francisco, but when I do end up walking the city streets I feel like a tourist needing to snap photos of EVERYTHING. Each corner I turn reveals a new site or interesting architectural angle. Every fence I see is begging to be looked behind. I feel like I just struck gold when I find an empty lot or abandoned space. Weeks like this remind me I need to spend more time exploring.
Old Mill On The Hayward Shorline
Every day, on my way into San Mateo, I pass by an old barn/mill on the edge of the Hayward Shoreline salt flats. It is an amazing structure that catches your eye each time you pass by, because you are amazing that it has not fallen over yet. Not exactly sure what it was used for but my assumption is that its an old salt mill. This week I decided it was about time I pull off the freeway and explore the place. Hope you enjoy.
